It’s been a while since the RPG community got together and published articles around a central theme. While discussing this in IRC, the topic of Loot was suggested, and what better time to write about and publish it than at Christmas.
This blog festival, like the Winter is Coming, and A Night in Lonesome October ones before it, is open to all members of the RPG community, whether it is for D&D of any edition, or something different such as Shadowrun, whether you’re a published author, or a newcomer, whether you run your own blog, or would like your article hosted here at Daily Encounter…
So, this is an open call to the community, we are after your thoughts on ‘Loot’, magical or mundane, where its found, what it contains, how to carry it… Your post might be the items themselves, or adventures based around a mythical item.
If you feel you can contribute to this blog festival, which will run from 24th Dec to 31st Dec, leave a comment below and we will be in touch…

contingent on hearing back from WotC about either of two Bazaar of the Bizarre pitches, I’m in. I may still be in otherwise, but need to look at the best allocation of my time toward “grown-up life” commitments.
